Ingredients
  

Seafood

  • 1 pound Shrimp Large, fresh or frozen shrimp.

Flavorings

  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/2 cup Butter Unsalted.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 1/2 cup White Wine Dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc.
  • 1/4 cup Parsley Chopped.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional.

Pasta

  • 8 ounces Linguine or Spaghetti Optional but recommended.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients: shrimp, garlic, butter, lemon juice, white wine, parsley, red pepper flakes, and pasta.

Shrimp Preparation

  • If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.

Cooking Pasta

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.

Sautéing Garlic

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cooking Shrimp

  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.

Deglazing

  • Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 minutes to lift flavorful bits from the pan.

Creating Sauce

  • Stir in lemon juice and additional butter until melted and sauce thickens slightly.

Combining
