Instructions
Preparation
Gather your ingredients: shrimp, garlic, butter, lemon juice, white wine, parsley, red pepper flakes, and pasta.
Shrimp Preparation
If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
Cooking Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
Sautéing Garlic
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Cooking Shrimp
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
Deglazing
Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 minutes to lift flavorful bits from the pan.
Creating Sauce
Stir in lemon juice and additional butter until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
Combining
Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
